Otis got to come with us to our new house. Mommy, Daddy, Me and Otis all got to come to the new house. We brought all our stuff over here to the new house too. This is a big house, the old house was little.
I have a new room. It has cool paint all over it. My other room was just white, this room is blue and blue and then orange. All my toys are even in my new room. We brought them here and put them in my room so I can still play with them.
When we came the first day I got to wash all the walls with Nana. Then we got to put paint all over the place. I had a little paint brusher that I got to use. I wanted to paint more but they wouldn’t let me. Mommy said that next time we paint the whole house that I can help cuz I’ll be bigger.

I was sitting inside reading while Mommy was outside then she told me to come out to see something. I didn’t want to at first but then she said to come fast or it might go away. So I came, and I was coming by the car fast then she told me to go really slow. Then she told me to look by the wall. I didn’t see anything. But then I saw a snake.

It was a big snake. I asked if it was a she snake or a he snake. Mommy said she didn’t konw, so I looked again and said he was a boy snake. I liked his eyes. They were all black. And he kept trying to lick something, I kept asking mommy what he was licking. She told me that is how snakes smell but I think he was licking. He stayed still and was drinking the water because mommy turned on the sprinklers for the flowers.
Then he was done and he decided to go in the water and take a shower. He was a cool snake.

Daddy goes to work every day and I wish I could go. Today Daddy let me go with him to his work. It’s filemaker. There was a big fountain and there were lots of people who kept talking to me. I had to tell them my name was “Calebnalabuyo” lots of times. I went to lots of offices and there were lots of toys like legos and spiderman! Then we went to daddy’s office and he had a big chair and a ninja turtle.
Daddy said lets go get food, so we went up the stairs to the big room with lots of tables and I got pizza, cookies, pineapple, watermelon, and grapes! After I was all done a guy gave me chocolate, too!
I really like filemaker. It’s fun! Now I know why daddy goes to work every day.

For today’s nap I was jumping around on the couch with my sword, then I got tired so I decided to lie down and take a nap.
Yesterday I took my nap in the car at Nana and Papa’s house. Monday I slept on the chair. I like to change it up, not take boring naps always in the same place or at the same time. I think if I slept in my bed that would make me a baby. If I take naps where and when I want then I am the one deciding to take a nap and not Mommy so that makes me a big boy now.

I am a big boy now. I know that because Today I got to go to school. I played with Thomas the train and I built a block tower. I didn’t want to paint with my hands on the paper because then my hands would be dirty. I rode the bikes outside around and around and around. I saw the puppets sheep and cow. The cow threw the sheep’s toy and it wasn’t nice, but then they talked to each other and were nice again. I had lunch there too. We had apples and crackers and cheese, it was yummy. They even have little pottys there so I can go potty all by myself. And I can wash my hands all by myself too.
My teachers said that I did very good and I get to come back again. I told mommy that and she said I get to go again on Thursday, then again and again and again.
I love my new school.

On the way home after Awana…
“Mommy, Jesus died on a cross”
“You’re right, do you know what happened to him?”
“He carry his cross all the way to the mountain. Then he had the thing on his head and it didn’t feel good”
“Then what happened?”
“He was stuck there and the girls cried all the way on the mountain because they didn’t want Jesus to die on the cross”
“He stayed there?”
“No the bright angel moved the big heavy rock in the tube (tomb) and told the girls ‘He’s not here. Your Jesus is alive!’ And he was all better and is happy now.”

I have known for a while that there is a difference between boys and girls, but now I think I have it all figured out.
Boys like trucks
Girls like cars
Boys like guitars
Girls like drums
Boys like shoes
Girls like sandals
Boys are strong
Girls can open things
Boys like Superman and Spiderman
Girls don’t like those because they are too scary
Boys like scary songs
Girls like nice songs
I like boys
I love girls, but I don’t like them
