Caleb (a.k.a. Tay-yub My life as a 2 year old)

Mommy was taking pictures of her Peas I asked her to take a picture of me.

I also took some pictures too that I thought you would like to see.

“Where’s Daddy?”

“He’s at work.”

“Where’s Papa?”

“He’s at work too.”

“Where’s Nana?”

“She’s at work too.”

“3 works!”

Mommy looks at me with an amazed look, “Yeah, thats 3. How do you know that?”

I love swimming. We play games and sing songs and I know almost all the words now. Today for the fishy in the middle game I picked cow. Usually they want you to pick an animal that lives in the water, but I decided on cow anyway. Then all the other babies (and their parents) were impressed when I went underwater to get out of the circle and everone else just blew bubbles, or just their mom or dad blew bubbles for them because they don’t know how yet. I also went down and got a purple shark off the bottom of the pool.

Mommy is starting to make me have to move by myslef more now though. She doesn’t hold me all the time and tries to make me hold on to the side, but I would rather just have her hold me the whole time. The teacher told her to do that, because when mommy gives me to her she does the same thing. They also want me to float on my back, but I told them no. But they keep trying it so I have to keep telling them no. I don’t know if they will ever listen to me.

Today was a great day. This morning we went and played at the park. I went in the river and got all wet and then got to play on the playground. Most of the time was on the swings. While I was swinging I thought it would be fun to yell to mom to tell her every thing I saw. “TREE. FENCE. SAND. KIDS.” If I didn’t yell then how would she know what I was looking at.

When we left I fell asleep in the car, and when I woke up we were on our way to the beach. I played in the sand, the waves and even dug a hole. Then Daddy brought dinner and we ate on the beach.

Mommy kept complaining that it was too hot but I hope we have another too hot day. The park and the beach in one day…it just doesn’t get any better.

Here is where I will tell you about life as a 2 year old. I have lots of fun playing everyday and learn new things all the time as well.

Take today for instance. I had a great time playing in chuch this morning. It was just Ryder and I in there today and we had a great time riding around on the moto-cytohs (motorcycles) and making as much noise as possible.

Then this afternoon when mommy was changing my diaper she asked if I wanted to sit on my potty, so I did because there are fun magazines to look at in there. So as I was sitting and reading my magazine something happened. So I ran out to tell daddy that I farted. He looked confused, came in the bathroom and told me that I pooped in the potty. He got excited and congratulated me and had mommy come and look too. I looked at it and didn’t think it was anything to get excited about so I told them how I felt. “Ewww, gross” I thought that pretty much summed it up so I repeated that a couple of times. But then they told me that I got a sticker, so now I think that maybe I will try to do that again so I can get another sticker. I picked a Shrek sticker.

So now you know a little about my day. I will try to tell you more so that you really know what life is like for a 2 year old like me.
